How to measure a field with GPS

Record a route around a field to estimate its area and the distance travelled.

Start the recording near the boundary. Keep the phone with you while you follow the edge.
Pause when you stop or leave the boundary. Resume when you are ready to continue the route.
Complete the outline, calculate the area and review the track before saving it.
